One of the most anticipated events is the Greater Waterbury Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival. In 2026, the festival is set to expand to a two-day event on September 18 and 19, marking its fourth annual celebration. This year’s theme, ‘Boricua Taínos of Waterbury, Connecticut,’ honors the Indigenous heritage and cultural endurance that continue to shape the Puerto Rican identity in our city.
